You can manage how badges appear on your Credly profile in two ways:
- Permanently remove a badge from your account
- Hide a badge from your public profile
Option 1: Permanently remove a badge
Removing a badge will delete it from your account entirely. Once removed, it cannot be restored, you would need to be reissued the badge by the issuing organization.
To remove a badge:
Log in to your Credly account.
Go to your Profile page.
Select the badge you want to remove.
In the badge pop-up window, select See badge details page.
On the badge details page, click the More options (⋯) icon next to the green Share button.
-
Choose one of the following options:
Make badge private: Hides the badge from your public profile but keeps it in your account.
Reject badge: Permanently removes the badge from your profile. (The option may vary depending on the badge’s status.)
Confirm your selection when prompted.
⚠️ Note: If you choose to Reject a badge, this action cannot be undone. The badge will be permanently removed from your account and will no longer appear in your badge list or public profile.

Option 2: Hide a badge from your public profile
If you’d like to keep a badge but not display it publicly, you can adjust its visibility settings to make it private.
To make a badge private:
Log in to your Credly account.
Go to your Profile page.
Select the badge you want to manage.
In the badge pop-up window, select Badge Status.
You’ll be redirected to the Edit Credly Badges page.
Under Public Badges, select Hide Badge.
Once a badge is private:
It remains visible only to you when you’re logged in.
It will not appear on your public profile or when others view your badge portfolio.
