Your Credly profile is the single, shareable digital record of all your verified skills – controlled by you and not dependent on any employer (past, present or future) or credential issuer to provide a complete record of your capabilities. Completing and maintaining your profile also unlocks unique, actionable insights into the skills that employers want and need, and those skills that will keep you employable in the long term in the face of AI and other technologies – personal to you and the career you want.
Your Credly profile is made-up of three main areas. We list them here with the functions available to you to customize and personalize. Ultimately, your profile is a digital representation of what you know and what you can do. It’s a tool for distinguishing yourself from others. Be sure to read the linked articles!
Header and Personal Summary
In this area, you can add information about your current situation (job title for instance), add a photo, and make a personal statement that aligns with your career goals. Think of this as the opening of your resume. It gives the reader a general idea of who you are.

Badge Wallet
The next section is your badge wallet. In this section, you can decide which badges you want to feature by reordering (a drag and drop feature) or hiding badges that are less important to you. Additionally, you can import badges from other platforms. Curating the right badges for your career aspirations leads to a more accurate and focused story of your achievements and skills.

Skills Wallet
The final section is your skills wallet. Again, you can determine which skills you want to display. Skills are derived based on the badges that you have earned as well as any occupational information you provide while customizing your profile. You can rearrange the skills so that those most aligned with your career goals are at the top. Likewise, you can hide those that you don't believe speak to your abilities or that don’t match your career goals.
