Get to know the new Credly Earner Dashboard!

Updated 09/04/2026

Credly has redesigned the earner dashboard to make it easier to understand your progress, take action on your profile, and discover badges and skills relevant to your career.

The new experience includes a redesigned Home tab focused on your profile, badges, skills, and next steps, along with a new Explore tab for personalized recommendations and discovery.

What’s new on the Home tab?

When the new dashboard is available for your account, you'll see several new sections designed to help you get more from Credly.

Profile Strength

Profile Strength gives you an at-a-glance view of how complete your Credly profile is.

You'll also see a checklist of actions you can take to strengthen your profile, such as:

  • Adding a profile photo
  • Writing a profile summary
  • Adding your work history
  • Adding and managing badges
  • Completing other profile information

Your Profile Strength is private. Only you can see it while signed in to your Credly account.

Next Steps

The Next Steps section suggests useful actions you can take on Credly. Depending on your account and profile, these may include:

  • Enabling two-factor authentication
  • Connecting your LinkedIn account
  • Adding work experience
  • Exploring skills
  • Exploring occupations
  • Completing other recommended activities

These suggestions may change as you complete activities and use Credly.

Badges and skills

The redesigned dashboard gives you a quick view of your credentials and validated skills.

From Home, you can see recent badges, review your top validated skills, discover what's trending across Credly, and quickly navigate to your full Badge Wallet or Skills Wallet.

If you haven't earned a badge yet, you'll see options to start exploring credentials instead.

Spotlighted Features

The Spotlighted Features section highlights additional ways to use Credly's tools and resources.

Check this area periodically to discover useful Credly features, resources, and recently introduced capabilities.

What's on the Explore tab?

The new Explore tab is dedicated to discovering credentials and career opportunities.

Here you'll find:

  • Badges for your role, with recommendations based on occupations
  • Trending badges across Credly
  • Personalized badge and skill recommendations
  • Additional recommendation experiences as they become available

If you're looking for recommendations that previously appeared on the dashboard under areas such as Explore top skills or emerging skills, look for them in Explore.

Recommendations are suggestions, not requirements. They may be influenced by your occupation as well as trending activity across Credly.

Did any of my badges, skills, or activity disappear?

No. The dashboard redesign does not remove your existing Credly data.

Your badges, skills, and activity history remain intact. The new dashboard reorganizes how information and recommendations are presented, so some features may appear in a different location than they did previously.

Can I switch back to the old dashboard?

No. There isn't an option to switch between the old and redesigned dashboards.

As the rollout expands, the redesigned dashboard will become the standard Credly earner experience.

What is the dashboard tour?

The first time you see the redesigned dashboard, a five-step guided tour may introduce you to the new Home experience and show you where to find Explore.

If you don't see the tour, don't worry. Some browsers with strict privacy or tracking protections may prevent the tour from appearing. This does not affect your access to the redesigned dashboard or its features.

Why didn't anything happen when I selected “Share Credly profile”?

Selecting Share Credly profile copies a link to your Credly profile to your device's clipboard.

It doesn't open a separate sharing window or share sheet. A confirmation appears on screen when the link has been copied, but it can be easy to miss.

You can then paste the copied link into an email, message, social post, or anywhere else you'd like to share your Credly profile.

Frequently asked questions

Did I lose any badges or skills with the redesign?

No. Your existing badges, skills, and activity remain unchanged.

Where did the recommendations from my old dashboard go?

Occupation-based recommendations have moved to the Explore tab.

Why am I seeing the new dashboard when someone else isn't?

The redesigned dashboard is being introduced through a phased rollout. Different earners may receive access at different times.

Can other people see my Profile Strength?

No. Your Profile Strength is visible only to you when you're signed in.

Why am I seeing badge recommendations that don't interest me?

Recommendations may be based on your occupation and activity that's trending across Credly. They're intended to help you discover opportunities and aren't requirements.

Why didn't I see the guided tour?

Certain browser privacy and tracking protections can prevent the tour from displaying. You still have full access to the dashboard.

Do I need to turn on the new dashboard?

No. The update is automatic when the redesigned experience becomes available for your account.
