We are officially consolidating our network on one unified platform--Credly Acclaim--on June 30, 2020. Your current subscription to the existing version of the Credly platform will no longer be able to issue badges after that date.
To learn more about transitioning to a paid subscription on Credy’s Acclaim platform to continue issuing digital credentials, please contact our sales team.
If you choose not to migrate, you can archive and download all of your program data before June 30, 2020.
To archive your program data, including data for program administrators, earners, and badge templates, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Credly account
- Go to Account Settings
- Click “Request Download”
A compressed file of your program assets will download to your browser. These assets will be available as JSON files that can be imported to another system or archived.
Action required to continue using Credly API.
To make sure your API works with Credly’s Acclaim platform after the transition, please refer to our Developer API documentation.
If you choose not to transition your API to Credly’s Acclaim platform, follow the steps listed above before June 30, 2020 to archive and download all of your program data.
If you’re using BadgeOS, your Credly-BadgeOS connection is changing. Action required to continue issuing badges.
Your current subscription to the existing version of the Credly platform will no longer be able to issue badges after June 30, 2020.
If you’d like to keep issuing badges, you can create and issue Open Badge compliant badges from within your site via the BadgeOS Social Sharing add-on. Learn more here
If you are not interested in the BadgeOS add-on, we want to make sure you have the ability to get all of the data from your Credly account. Follow the steps listed above before June 30, 2020 to archive and download all of your program data.
