To link your Credly account with MailChimp
Login to https://mailchimp.credly.com using your Credly Pro issuer account.
Link your MailChimp and Credly accounts by copying an API key from your MailChimp account into the Settings area of Credly for MailChimp.
Once the API Key has been added, select save and you’re all set.
"Credly-enable" one or more of your MailChimp templates using our simple WYSIWYG editor to insert placeholders for your badge image, save and share button or link.
To create an Email Template: Select Email Templates from the top of the page.
Next select Add & Enable a Template.
Select Save and confirm your template.
Select recipients from MailChimp Lists or Credly Lists, or add new individuals in real time. Select a Credly badge to issue, the MailChimp template you'd like to use to communicate with recipients, and choose a delivery option for now or a future time. You can even include optional evidence or a testimonial to accompany your badge.
To issue badges, select “issue badges” from the top of the page.
1. Select the badge you’d like to issue.
2. Choose your recipients.
Here you can choose from the drop down menu to
Add Recipients manually.
Use an existing MailChimp List
Use an existing Credly List.
After you’ve selected the method in which to choose your recipients, select Next.
3. Set your Delivery Options.
You can choose to send using the Credly Email notification which come from Credly.com when a badge is issued. You can also include a link to Evidence and a written testimonial.
Or you can choose to send using a MailChimp Template and also include a link to Evidence and a written testimonial. When using a MailChimp Template you can also select a specific date and time you’d like your badges to be issued.
Note: Scheduled campaigns should be given at least 15 minutes of processing time before the campaign is to be sent.
The final step is to review your badge and send.
Select Issue badge.
After the badge is issued, you’ll receive a confirmation message.
